A vagrant originally from Chicago, Sam traveled to California for the more hospitable winter weather. She was embraced by Marouth sometime in early or mid December1. A botched hunt of hers drew the attention of Lieutenant Hayes who then tasked Gabriela with looking into it2. There Sam confused Gabriela for a police officer or hunter and attacked her. This didn’t go well for her, and she was then questioned about her sire. Eventually, Marouth appeared and, in her frustration, nearly killed Sam but was stopped by Gabriela.
Since then she’s stayed with Gabriela who, as it turns out, is not a particularly good mentor3. Her whereabouts are presently unknown4.
