Gabriela returned to her apartment and caught Sam just about to leave. Apparently she was headed to meet with Roy and a few friends. Gabriela asked who the friends were, and of course this sparked something of an argument. They were just Roy’s friends. They were going to hang out at the Community Center or something.
Gabriela warned Sam that it was dangerous there, because the Camarilla wanted Thin-Bloods and unacknowledged Kindred dead. Sam argued that was a problem, and that it was a problem Gabriela still supported the Camarilla. Gabriela argued a different point entirely, that it didn’t matter who was right and who was wrong, and that it only mattered that she live, and part of that meant avoiding targeted locations.
Sam stormed out, and Gabriela followed. First, obviously. Then, when Sam demanded she leave her alone, Gabriela followed under cover of Obfuscate.
She followed her to the Thinblood Community Center where she met with her friends, and then to a Walmart where they were doing donuts. She wrote down the license plate number. She only intervened when one of Sam’s friends started passing out pills. Not wanting them to crash and die or get in trouble with the police, she crept up and snatched away the keys. She wasn’t fully spotted, but her presence was known. She managed to get away and head to the gala.
