Thalia approached Roy and Kiri, ready to enact the plan. Kiri would stir the pot, and Thalia would signal Roy when to move in to get Amalia’s blood. Then he’d hand it off to her, so if anything went wrong she could take the blame.
Kiri speaks loudly and rashly, as Roy disappears amidst the crowd “Say, I’ve always wanted to know what happened to him. My pops said he and him go way back.”
Amalia grows flustered. “You must be making some morbid joke. He would not affiliate with people such as yourself.”
To which Kiri sneers. “What’s THAT supposed to mean?”
Fiora, sensing another altercation brewing, speaks up: “I’ll have to ask that you both separate, for the time being.”
Then, Thalia signaled Roy. Kiri approached, and as did Roy with a syringe. Thankfully, Amalia confused the jab of a needle for a pinch from her aggressor. Amalia called her an inbred wretch, and Kiri nearly swung. Thalia managed to intercept and haul her outside while Amalia showed off the needle’s nick, blaming Kiri for the blood.
They reunited outside, Amalia’s blood in hand. Roy handed it off, and left. Kiri decided to call it quits for the night as well.
