Report by Frances’s player
After Calimastia leaves, Kaveh goes to the history museum to speak with Neres regarding further findings surrounding the Saint of Light and the relics, with Frances following shortly behind him.
However, upon seeing Frances, Kaveh questions Frances’ allegiances with Father Lorenzo and Father Bernard, asking who he sides with. Frances replies by saying he sides with God first, and would not hesitate to bring Bernard to justice, giving his word to Kaveh that he won’t tell either of them any of his speculations.
Afterwards, the three go into discussing what they know of the relics and how they warn about the Saint, seemingly mortified of her. Neres says more can potentially be found in Sutter’s Fort Historical Park, though mentions that more insight can be gleamed from the relics themselves though at a cost of sanity.
However, the discussion is side-lined when Kingsnake enters the scene, telling the group that V&S have applied for a permit to excavate nearby The Cathedral of Blessed Sacrament. Frances quickly leaves to tend to the cathedral, leaving the remaining three to talk. Kaveh continues questioning the relics, asking how they might be used as weapon and if they can be used/replicated in some way, to which Neres (and therefore Kingsnake) disagree with, saying that relics must be kept safe away from anyone’s hands. Kaveh eventually capitulates, offering his services to Neres in return for more rituals to study before leaving.
Neres then sends Kingsnake to go and visit Sukui on her behalf, leading to her visiting a group of Anarchs on cards night.
Talking with Roger, it’s revealed that his great, great, great grandmother killed the Saint of Light in the past, though he doesn’t know where the mission was built, only guessing that it could be close to the river. Kingsnake and Roger get along well for the short encounter, before she leaves to go report back to Neres.
