Kaveh visited The Cathedral to meet with Father Frances. They had some private business to discuss, and as there was no private place in the church, they decided to head to the Falcron Blacksmith. On the way, Kaveh asked how the church had been, and was surprised to learn that the Camarilla hadn’t attacked since the events on New Year’s1. Frances asked of his childer and Kaveh explained that he’d sired one, Ember, but the other, Jensen, was taken in after being abandoned by his sire.
Once they arrived, Kaveh shared with the good father his encounter with Lieutenant Hayes. Specifically, he asked him about Father Lorenzo and Father Bernard. Frances could speak to Lorenzo’s character, and assured Kaveh he was a good man, but he’d yet to properly meet Bernard. Kaveh filled in the gaps, informing the father that Bernard had abandoned Jensen after siring him. Frances resolved to speak with both his brothers of this, especially Bernard.
Finally, Kaveh asked Frances to speak with Jensen, as he still struggled with being a vampire. Frances said to send him to The Cathedral where he’d speak with him, though he’d ensure Bernard wasn’t there, per Kaveh’s request. Then as he left, Kaveh presented his two pins. An eagle with a hammer; an eagle, a gavel. Frances took the one with the hammer, and was gone.
