Kingsnake, Thalia, Kaveh, and Jensen went to Mercury Labs and spoke to a thin-blood by the name of Dr. Mercury. They were informed that intruders had stolen two alchemical formulae. The only two surviving guards reported attacks from huge monsters, one resembling a horse with a snake head, something like a dragon, and a huge lion. Mercury suggested looking into the illegal drug trade, as one of the recipes required a truckload of heroin; the other, a ton of medical grade adrenaline.
After some investigation work, and with the help of Kingsnake’s criminal connections, they got a location and a name: Elio. This led them to a warehouse (possibly part of a larger operation) and then to an abandoned laboratory called Kelvin Labs, slated for demolition. There they met Elio. Apparently, his intent was to end the practice of Blood Bonding, a subject Kingsnake had never been made privy to. In the end, they reached an agreement with the Sabbat Elio to allow him to keep a copy of the research so he can continue his work, possibly with Anarch backing in the future.
Thalia was not particularly thrilled about this, as Elio was a member of the Sabbat.
