Irene asked Calimastia out on a date to the Ramen Shop through schreckmobile. They met and talked about how they both hated the Archmage, but Calimastia insisted the Sacramento Chantry was hers. Irene argued that she wasn’t the only one who wanted to see Jacobi fall. In fact, there were others who’d broken their blood bonds as well, over a half-dozen.

Calimastia insisted that if she helped Irene would use the momentum to do more atrocities. Apparently, something had happened at a neighborhood.

Irene looks genuinely upset. “What atrocities are you talking about? Are you still hung up about that neighborhood?”

“Yes! I am still hung up on mass murder Irene. Do you ever know how many people that was?”

“Do you think I’m not hung up on it, too? Yeah, it was really bad that I lost control there. I shouldn’t have done that. But, you know what? Things happen. People die. I can’t throw myself a pity party over it.”

Despite everything, Calimastia couldn’t help but feel something for Irene. They both resolved that, maybe, there was some way they, the Camarilla and the Sabbat, could coexist. Calimastia asked how Marouth was doing, and Irene looked dejected when she said she was learning fast.

At around this time, Thalia Kairos walked in. Bad news for the Hound of the Sheriff. A prospective Baron of the Anarchs had seen her consorting with a Sabbat member at a location known as a Sabbat hideout. Calimastia could not gaslight her way out of this, though she tried, lying and saying it was Sheriff’s business, then that Archmage Jacobi had been declared an enemy of the Camarilla by Justicar Victoria Ashe.

Irene, though, saw this as an opportunity, extending an invitation for Thalia to help them. They all wanted Jacobi out of the picture for one reason or another. In the end, they all agreed to the following plan, as dictated by Irene:

“So! As I said, simple plan. You and your pals show up and attack. All Jacobi’s bootlickers will come out and deal with you. Meanwhile, me and my people will swoop in, steal his stuff, and rub it in the Archmage’s face. Jacobi goes berserk, Calimastia swoops in, bam. No more Primogen.”

Finally, as she left, Thalia informed Sabirah of the Sabbat in the city and dropped off a torpored Ravnos with her. One Cali and Irene had staked in a booth, as per their agreement.
