Calimastia met with Don Valentin to help resolve some issues he’d been having with shipping as of late. He pointed her toward a warehouse, where she spoke with the foreman. Apparently, he’d been told to send the shipment for Don Valentin to another blacksmith in North Sac. She chased down the “lost” shipment to another warehouse where she found a gaggle of punks: a Gangrel, a Ravnos, and a Brujah.
Several rolls later, the punks thoroughly beaten, Calimastia questioned them. She found out they were sent by Javier, though their intended blacksmith, Kaveh Falcrone recipient wasn’t in on it. Then after intimidating them into undergoing accounting, she staked them.
Calimastia returned to Don Valentin who offered to make her a sword or a chestplate. She chose the latter, and per his request issued only a warning to Kaveh.
A few hours later, Kaveh gets a strange letter left on his doorstep. No return address. Inside, are photographs of three staked Anarch fledgelings, and the incapacitated foreman. Additionally, there’s a letter left inside.
*“Neonate Falcron,
As you are a Camarilla member in good standing, I offer you one and only warning. These individuals attempted to use duplicity, under orders of one called Javier, to violate your agreement with Luke Grayson1 and rob your sire, an Ancillae in good standing of his lawfully acquired materials. I am aware you are not directly complicit in their actions, but inform your allies this behavior will not be tolerated or I will be forced to report this to higher authorities. I expect no further violations.”
The letter isn’t signed, save for a pair of wax seals, of the clan Tremere, and some kind of large dog. Seems pretty obvious.*
