Thalia visited the first of three shops. The keeper had heard about her, and that wasn’t a good thing. As she left, she watched a car pull up, and Barry and Johnny exit. In the passenger seat, there was a Brujah she’d seen before but not in a while, Wyatt. She asked why they were running with Barry. The kid explained the situation, she offered to get them out some other time, and then once everyone left she returned to the shop owner and managed to—with great difficulty—convince him to take Anoush’s money instead of the Ventrue’s.
The second shop was short-staffed, and beset by college republicans, perhaps the worst fate any small business can befall. Thalia scared them off.
The last business, she saw Luke Grayson chatting with the owner. Apparently the shopkeeper was missing a brother, and Luke had his good friends on the Highway Patrol stopping at nothing to find him. They spoke about the brother, one Sudhir Anand, who was a newly embraced Ravnos, sired by Anoush. It could become a problem later.
Then, they parted ways.
