Then, she drew his blood to later pour into the river, though it seemed to lack a sort of ritual to it. The Saint seemed to prefer drinking directly from the source. Then, she drove the torpid Ryu to Elysium.
Gabriela returned to The Saint’s river. She poured Ryu’s blood into it, but there was a dissatisfaction. It lacked a certain gravitas. Next time, she’d bring the donor straight to the river. For the mission.
