Kaveh hadn’t received any new blood donations that day, so when he arose at night he was worried he might not have enough blood for the projects he was intent on working on. That was when he heard a knock at the door. It was Lieutenant Mordecai Hayes.
Effectively, Mordecai clocked Kaveh as a vampire (confirmed as around 225 years old) and was only checking in to ensure that his methods of gathering blood were peaceful. Kaveh confirmed they were and that they’d stay that way. Finally, he asked him to report any information on Father Lorenzo or Father Bernard to him.
When Jensen came down, Kaveh informed him about what had happened.
Jensen listens intently. Wait, is that dude a human? Jensen puts this question aside to answer Kaveh. Though Father Lorenzo isn’t the person he seeks, Jensen takes note of the name. It’s possible that he could be working with his sire. “No, but…did I hear him correctly when he mentioned a…” Jensen struggles to get the name out. It’s a name that is still sensitive to him.
“Bernard?”
Jensen nods “Yes.” “He’s…” Jensen breathes for a moment before collecting himself. “He’s my sire.”
Then, Kingsnake arrived at the shop, and they spoke for a while, before venturing somewhere else entirely…1
